P.S. "Whosetruth?" is correct, though - Alan Keyes really is a lunatic. And I simply cannot listen to Hannity. He's a little too shrill for me. Sort of reminds me of that speech Hillary gave where her voice got higher and higher as it got louder and louder. Nails on the chalkboard, my friend. Nails on the chalkboard.

David Paul was a hoot! I particularly enjoyed his idea to replace the presidential faces on currency - almost to a man, they died broke or nearly so - with successful living businessmen. Imagine Bill Gates on the $2, Donald Trump on the $3, etc. Great stuff.
Calling conservatives names does not really promote your cause. And anyone who believes that he or she should be president should be immediately disqualified. President Obama? He is simply the smartest (wiliest?) of a dumb lot - certainly no brighter than the last one. There aren't too many people who have managed to avoid hard work for so long after college, although Bill Clinton comes to mind.
Americans should hold themselves accountable for their choices in life - choices that were made in haste, selfishness, impatience, greed, immaturity, etc. We should not expect the government (on balance, funded by fewer than half of all Americans) to support us.
Double the number of surgeons and you double the number of surgeries. Double the duration of unemployment compensation, and you discourage able bodied men and women from working for twice as long. A truly hungry man will try to feed himself. With a government teat between his lips, what is his incentive? Don't answer "pride" - if he were proud, he wouldn't keep suckling.

What I have to say is that Obama has done a poor job on putting the brakes on the many disasters begun under the Bush administration, and I'm not happy about a number of the things you mention. Especially the wars in the Middle East.

However, I find the Obama demonization bandwagon rolling through the American countryside exceptionally alarming. And if you're insinuating that electing the McCain/Palin ticket would have been better for America or the world, I have to laugh.

What do you have to say today now that we're saddled with another 1.4 trillion dollars in debt, the war still escalating in the middle east, bailouts and the nationalization of automobile companies, banks and insurance companies, the dollar plummeting, foreclosures, bankruptcies and unemployment booming? Some change.

Great stuff here. Given the failure of Timmeh and Summers, I actually might listen to more of this. I'm not sure the context will exactly fit but Obama's team is really blowing it these days.

Great post as always prof! I had to work after election day and wondered what the first reaction of talk radio was. Thanks for archiving :D

How was the SWL Fest ? Would love to have gone but life is crazy right now with my wedding in a month. Caught some of its coverage on WBCQ (5110 KHz) with Timtrons show, sounded like a good time.

I brought my radio blog back with a slightly different theme and name change. Instead of a daily spew I'll just cover radio in general when I have the time. Only one post now but it's a work in progress - RF Enigma.

Sorry, but I can't bring myself to listen to a second of any of these wingnuts, but I admire you for putting yourself through all that.

Malloy is now successfully self-syndicating and I don't really care if Rhodes ever comes back.
