BTW, the broadcast at 6005 may have been from NHK, but it was not in Japanese. I believe it was Chinese (NHK does multi-lingual broadcasts), but I&#039;m not 100% sure.</description>

		<description>I did a non-recorded 49 meter bandscan last night around 6 PM EST, and was amazed when I flipped to ssb how many domestic african broadcasts were coming through.  A lot of french speech and native music.  The ssb notches out the strong AM relay signals from up north.  Helps also to have a 80 ft wire antenna in the countryside :)

One of these days I&#039;ll actually record a scan and post it on my blog or send it to you prof.  Thanks for the good read.
